'Finally free, now I can breathe' by Fern Siebler

"Have you ever had that awful feeling of being lost, stuck, trapped in one sense or another? In the past I have felt like this, and with this painting I wanted to create a sense of release, of freedom, of letting go and moving on. Of being able to finally take a big deep breath in and out and tell myself I am safe. The linear movement of the the paint reflects moving forward, keeping on going no matter how hard it may seem at the time. Keep inching on forward. Keep breathing."
